The Mitchell Young Memorial Golden Eagle Scholarship did something unprecedented this year—they awarded scholarships to 33 students in the Big Walnut High School Class of 2019.
Over many hugs and tears, every student in the class who applied received an award on stage at the BW Senior Awards Night.
The Young family has raised funds in the community through events like the Annual Mitchell Young Memorial Cornhole Tournament, and they decided that Mitchell’s classmates should all receive a scholarship this year.
